The Mitchell PTO works with the school to make Mitchell an awesome place to be for students, families, and staff! Your participation in our events and fundraisers is an easy way to help strengthen our school community. And if you want to be a bit more involved, let us know - we are always looking for helping hands, great ideas, and new ways to fund our initiatives!

Below are our major programs and how they support our mission.

Family Events 

We host multiple FREE events throughout the year for Mitchell students and their families. These activities help build community and reinforce the fun aspects of school and learning.

Mitchell Merch

We design and produce all spirit gear and yearbooks for Mitchell. These items provide a fun way for students and staff to connect and express their Mustang pride.

Field Trips

We offset transportation costs to help keep field trips affordable. Field trips are a great educational experience, and we want every student to be able to attend at least one per year.

Class Supplies

Our creative staff members have so many big ideas for interesting materials and lessons. We provide stipends to classroom teachers to help bring these ideas to life.

Staff Appreciation

We find ways throughout the year to let our staff know we see them and appreciate all that they do. Staff members who feel valued . 


The PTO is an all-volunteer organization, and we do a lot of fundraising to pay for all of our programs. We appreciate your support through restaurant Family Nights Out, the annual Fun Run, and the Penny War. And if you know of any businesses that would like to sponsor us, please let us know!
